Use a short, unique asset identifier

Start with the identifier in your equipment register, such as AST-001. Code 128 is selected by default. Choose a layout with human-readable text so staff can identify the asset even without scanning it, and add a company name or logo if required.

Choose the label dimensions, then download the SVG or PNG for one label, or export a print PDF. A4 output uses 10 mm margins and 3 mm gaps on plain paper or full-sheet sticker stock. Print at 100% and scan a sample before attaching labels to equipment.
