Print at 100% / Actual size. Disable browser headers and footers. A4 output is for plain paper or full-sheet sticker stock, not pre-cut label templates. For thermal printers, match the stock and driver to 80 × 40 mm. Test one label with your scanner before printing a batch.
Generate and print bulk asset tags with your own company logo and unique asset IDs. Create up to 250 labels per batch using sequential numbering, such as AST-001, AST-002 and AST-003, or upload a CSV of your existing assets. Choose Code 128 or Code 39 for short asset IDs that your barcode scanners can read.
Choose a bulk label source in the builder, review your batch, then print all labels or download one PDF. Use the A4 layout for plain paper or full-sheet sticker stock, or select one label per page for a compatible thermal printer. Print at actual size and scan a sample before printing the full batch. Keep a record of issued IDs so later batches do not reuse existing asset numbers.
Enter one ID, generate a numbered sequence, or import your own CSV. Keep IDs unique across your equipment register.
Choose a layout and size, then add a company name and logo. Use short asset IDs for barcodes and your own links for QR codes.
Export PNG or SVG for individual labels, or download a PDF of the whole batch. Choose an A4 sheet or one label per page for a label printer.
In EquipLoop, open an equipment item or individual unit to download its QR code or customise and print a label. Scanning opens the record for authorised users, connecting the physical asset to its details and assignment history.
Enter your asset ID, choose Code 128 or Code 39, then pick a label size. Add your company name or logo if needed. Download the PNG, SVG or PDF, or print the label immediately.
Code 128 is the default for compact internal asset IDs and supports printable ASCII in this tool. Code 39 supports uppercase letters, numbers, spaces and - . $ / + %. Check that your scanner supports the format you select.
Yes. Create up to 250 sequential labels or import CSV rows with asset_id,name,value columns. Leave value blank to encode each asset ID, or supply custom content per row. Export the entire batch to PDF or print it.
Yes, if the link uses supported characters and fits at the chosen size. Long links can make linear barcodes too dense. The builder checks this and recommends a shorter ID, larger label or QR code. The QR asset tag generator is better suited to web links.
Yes. Add a PNG, JPG or WebP logo up to 2 MB. The logo is placed above the barcode so it does not cover the bars or quiet zones. The generator processes the logo in your browser.
No. This tool generates Code 128 and Code 39 labels for internal identification. It does not allocate GS1 numbers or create EAN/UPC retail product identifiers.
A barcode contains the ID or text you enter. Your scanner and software determine how to use it. For a code that opens an EquipLoop equipment record, use the QR label on that record’s dashboard detail page.
Yes. Choose the A4 layout for plain paper or full-sheet sticker stock, or choose Label printer for one label per page. Use 100% / Actual size, match the driver’s stock dimensions and test scanning before a batch run.
Keep a master register of issued asset IDs and start each new batch after the last number used. Use a consistent prefix and number padding, such as AST-001. The generator rejects duplicate CSV IDs within a batch, but does not check previous batches or your equipment register. Avoid reassigning a retired asset’s number to a different asset.
Yes, by creating separate batches of up to 250 labels each. For sequential numbering, continue the next batch from the number after the previous batch’s final ID. For example, generate AST-001 to AST-250, then start the next batch at 251. Download or print each batch separately and keep a record of the ranges used.
Export a spreadsheet as CSV with the headers asset_id,name,value in that order. Include up to 250 rows, with a unique asset ID on every row. The name and value columns are optional; leave value blank to encode the asset ID, or enter custom code content for that row. Select the bulk CSV source in the builder, upload or paste your file, then review the preview before printing.
